So I am looking to buy my first ls1, and I came across this craigslist add in chicago. I know he doesn't know anything about these cars from the add, saying its a 98 and a LT1. He also says its a 5speed automatic? So I'm wondering if it is even worth going to look at because he doesn't know anything about them. Here's the link...

No Ive never seen that car before. The guys description would be enough to scare me off. How well do you think he's done repairs or maintinence? lol

I mean, it might be a nice car. Id just rather buy a car from someone who atleast knows what they are talking about. lol

There are a ton of these cars for sale in that price range. Good luck
