Come over to the carb forum. You will find lots of helpful people for this set up.
You are right on the cusp with your set up. You can run either intake. If your cam was bigger I would say Victor Jr. hands down. If you intend to go bigger and faster in the future, get the Victor Jr.
With your set up as it is right now, you will go a little quicker with the Performer RPM in the 1/8th and in the 60'. Maybe a 1 tenth quicker with the RPM.
If you are like the rest of the hot rod world, you will be putting a bigger cam in before you know it and the Victor JR will like that. Ask me how I know......

I would say performer based on the lower lift and duration of that cam and the 10:1 compression...the Vic jr builds its power higher in the rev range, and by that time your cam and heads will be done flowing anyway...anyway good luck on it man, I like them foxes with LS...

Unless you got the heads cnc ported or equivalent hand porting those 706s will be done flowing by 6000rpm or close to it... The Rpm will provide more torque under the curve whereas the Vic jr only make slightly more power on the big end, but I'm sure you could run either one if you dial in the carb
