Alright, who's got the best price on ready to drop in 12 bolt axles?
i figured since I'm in the 11's this 10 bolt isn't going to last.. It's already showing signs of it. So, instead of stressing myself out by running around junkyards and looking for 8.8's and 9's and then doing all the fabrication work i could just get one ready to drop in..
The car has ABS and Traction control, both which i'd like to keep. The whole build on this car is for it to be a true "10 second capable street car" that i can drive to the local meets or the track, or to school when i can't ride the bike.
the mods in my sig are current, would anyone recommend a re-gear? i hit a 1.64 60ft last friday with 3.23's and stock shocks/springs. I have a stock torque arm as well, and before anyone says anything. I'm dead set on a 12 bolt because i don't want to add anymore weight to the car, it already has an iron block lol

s60s are heavy and rob a ton of power. 12 bolt is plenty for your goals and then some, plus takes less hp to turn then a 9 inch or s60. Don't let people try and talk you into an M6 rear end (bullet proof under clutch drop situations). Here's mine:

9 inch is going to have the most support from the aftermarket. And as far as HP loss is concerned...I defy anyone to show me the difference on a time slip. And if there were a couple of hundredths, so what! With all you get, it's worth it. It must be...it's the most popular replacement rear end in racing.
