SLP/yank 2800 vs. Vig 2800
I have an LT1 if that makes it any different. The SLP/Yank is $300 cheaper, but how is it compared to the vig. It's going to be on a daily driver, and I plan on doing a cam, mabey heads. My question, is how is the SLP compared to the Vig? Right now I'm leaning towards the vig because I don't trust SLP .

As far as the Yank and PI. I have heard from a number of sources that those two companies have the most efficient converters.
Just my $.02.

For an LT1, the Vig 2800 is a good choice; it will perform better than the SLP unit. SLP makes a 3300 for the LS1; if that unit is available that would be a better converter than the 2800.
For an LT1, 2800 - 3200 stall seems to be a good range. The LT1 normally has better low end grunt and doesn't spin as high as the LS1. Additionally, the programming can be an issue on converters over 3500 on some years.
