snapped hood latch cable

Default snapped hood latch cable
The cable broke at the hood latch, so need to find a way to open the hood to fix it. It,s a 99 ss with the slp ssra kit on it. What a PITA! ANY SUGGESTIONS?

That sucks. Where did it snap at? Any chance you have enough left to pull the cable with pliers or something? If not, you're going to have to snake your arm up there and release the latch yourself.

Ya I searched, just was lookin for some tips.Anyway I got the latch open, pretty easy once the plastic dam on the bottom was removed.
