98 SS swapping everything into 95 v6 shell
Like the title says, My 98 SS spent most of its life in northern ohio before I got it, I knew about some of the rust before i got it but didn't realize the extent of the cancer, but with documented 50k on rebuilt engine/trans I still came out ahead, I am now purchasing a 95 v6 shell that is rust free, but when i say shell i mean shell no bumpers/lights/interior/glass etc. Im not new to cars by any means or swapping in an old carb v8 where a 6 or 4 cyl used to reside, im just wondering if there is any tips or unforseen problems you guys see with this swap. Ill be putting everything from the ss on/in the shell, interior/engine/trans/bumpers/lights/wiring/rear end/k-member/rack & pinion, as well as upgrading some things along the way.
Sorry about being so long winded, just wanted to make sure i detailed the extent of the swap im planning and hopefully get some input.

It will be alot of work, but the only thing I can think of you will run into not swapping over is the trans crossmember. If I remember correctly, you will need to run a crossmember from an LT1 for M6 or A4 depending on which trans you have. The locations for the crossmember to body holes are different on 98-02's. Besides that.....just a lot of tedious swapping parts ahead of you. Have fun!!

Im sure you already know, but the entire front k member will bolt right into the 95 car. so the trans cross member will the only thing the drivetrain needs as far as mounting.
It would def. be a good idea to swap the fuel pump out of the old car.
