Default how to find a vacumm leak?

After the car warms, the RPMs stay high at a red light for about 30 seconds or more. This has been ocurring for about 6 months....

Now, the PCM has thrown a PO300 code, so I assume the O2 sensors (front only) are bad. The back 02 sensors have been disconnected and the PCM no longer sees them.

Anyway, I believe the failure to idle issue is caused by a vacumm leak. I have looked at a few of the obvious places but nothing pops out as the vacumm leak source.

How is the best way to track down a vacumm leak?

My cylinder heads have been shaved 60 thousands, so maybe the plastic manifold is leaking....???? the manifold bolts are hard to align becasue the heads are shaved. The heads have been on the car for 8 years or so...

Smoke machine.

But you can also spray brake cleaner all around, if you see a spike in rpm you found the leak area.
