Default Dead leaves blocking wiper drain

OK, so I have been replacing the wiper motor and electronic wiper control module annually for a few years now.... what a PITA!

Last weekend, I had the car jacked up to replace the O2 sensors and after I was done, I pulled the jack out. It snagged, however, on the plastic fender.

....and out fell a bunch of dead leaves and other material that I believe was blocking the wiper drain.

Has anyone had this issue?

Thanks.....

Never. But if that is happening to you, I would pull off any parts that are catching that stuff and clean it all out. That stuff will hold water and cause corrosion problems later down the road. Get as much as possible. Use a small shop vac or an air hose.

Start with the windshield wiper cowl and fenders. I am planning to do this every spring and fall. I hate the idea of that crap getting in there and the walmart car cover started ripping on me.
