Soon to be ls1 owner saying hi
Wanted to give a huge thanks to the ls1tech community i have been reading around on these forums for about a year now, I'm finally about to pick up my first ls1 car. It's a 01 ws6 trans am 65k miles. I'm getting the car for a steal and it's a huge upgrade from my P.O.S ford ( Well in my eyes anyways)

I drove a friends ws6 a few months back and fell in love with them. I'm getting mine for right at 10k paint is flawless interior is a 8.5 out of ten. From what i have seen prices in my neck of the woods are pretty low for ls1 cars. I have seen a couple that were beat all to hell and wayyyy over priced though.

awesome. good luck on your purchase.
on a side note, if there are any "signs" or things just don't fall in place for a smoothe transaction, like its not "meant to be" don't be afraid to pass it up and keep looking. i almost bought a few different f-bodies before i found mine. sooo glad i was patient

The car is at a reputable dealer and i have test drove it so i know it is mechanically sound. Really the only thing that would prevent me from getting it is if the guy bails out on buying my mustank...ermmm i mean mustang lol. I almost got my hands on a 02 Camaro ss 20k original miles i just couldn't part with my 1930 model a deluxe roadster.

I have been offered alot for it but me and my grandpa worked on that car for the longest so it has alot of sentimental value to me. I'm pretty sure the only thing i would ever trade it for would be a 94/98 supra with a Big single turbo swap and low low miles. Or a Super clean chevelle

Ya ya ya lol. You have to give the supras some credit though the 2jz motors have loads of potential. One of my friends i grew up with drives a 98 supra fully built by titan motorsports that car is the hands down fastest car i have ever been in ( after turbo lag lol)
