2000 t/a and 2001 2500hd engine swaps So I own a 2000 WS6 with LS1 and a 2001 chev 2500hd. I want to do a 6.0 LQ4 swap in my T/A. My truck has 160k on it and the WS6 has 100k miles. Im thinking about taking the engine outta the truck and building it for the T/A. My QUESTION is what would it take to put my LS1 in the truck and would it not be a bad idea? My thinking is the LS1 runs to good and has lower miles then truck just to sell and find another 6.0L. Is this unreasonable? ALL opinions welcome.
