Default 99 6.0 engine question

I have a 99 6.0 engine that was taken out of my 2500HD Truck. I wanted to know if this would be a good engine to rebuild to use in one of my older cars ( 69 Camaro or 70 Chevelle)? If so, how hard and expensive would it be to get about 600hp out of this engine? Any rebuild/parts suggestions ???

Im new to the LS stuff.

Thanks

The 6.0 is a fantastic starting point for your build. It offers a 4" bore, and can be oversized up to .030 depending on wall thickness from the factory. We have a huge selection of forged rotating assemblies for the 6.0, stock displacement up to a 408. We are currently running a special on eagle rotating assemblies right now! click here to learn more!

We can also supply you with a custom rotating assembly for your needs. Please give us a call or email us to talk about your plans to make sure you buy the right kit.

Thanks!
Kyle
