Engine Code P0008....
Before driving the car to work today i noticed it had a check engine light on, after running the codes (2) i found the TPS (just replaced) code and P0008 came up!
From what i have found out after a quick google search it seems it's a common problem for 5th gens and other overhead cam cars throw this code, seems to be a stretched timing chain or camshaft pattern out of whack!
We put the car back together with a new set of lifters/cam/double roller and it just doesnt make sense to me that the less then a month old double roller would stretch!
Has anybody had this problem on here before?
Any help would be great, thanks!
