Default 1981 Camaro Z28 with roll cage

Hello everyone. I have had my 1981 Z28 listed locally here in California for about 3 months. I have had a few calls on it and 2 people have come to see it. I think what's turning people away is that the car does not pass smog as it sits and the paint needs to be redone. Other than that I think I am being fair in asking $2500 for it. Knowing that I would probably end up taking $2,000 for it. The car has less than 1,000 miles on a fairly stock rebuild, RV cam and Edelbrock intake and carb. It has a nice 10 point cage that looks really good in the car. And newer seats that have never been driven in. Please let me know what you guys think I should be asking for it before I post here. I also have a 1995 Z28 that I am needing money to finish or else I would be keeping this car until I had the time and money to make it awesome. Thanks. http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/3516458217.html

3 months indicates that the price is too high, even at $2,500. Since you are willing to take $2,000, start your price at $1,950 which gets you under that $2,000 psychological barrier. You should get a few more responses. I'm surprised that the few people that came to look at the car didn't offer you anything. Is the car accurately described? What price did you turn down? In any event, GLWS!
