LS6 TPS on an LS1
Hi
I have an LS6 inlet, TB and TPS on an LS1 I am in the process of wiring.
The LS1 loom and ECU..sorry PCM is expecting a 3 pin TPS.
The LS6 has a twin track TPS so 6 pin.
Should I just wire in one of the tracks leaving the other unused or connect to both tracks. By which I mean connect the PCM signal to both of the potentiometer wipers, both the 5v ref and both the grounds.
As I see it this would offer greater reliability but i'm not electronic and wonder if the resistances would all be wrong.
Many thanks for your help.
Steve

It is an LS6 inlet but a cable TB.
The harness (aftermarket) is sold as being for a cable TB and comes with the 3 pin plug.
I could buy a 3 pin TPS but that is not so easy being in the UK.
I have a 6 pin plug with pigtails so just need to know if I should just use 3 of the pins or double up the connections to use all 6 pins.

Any way you can post a pic of what you have? I have never seen a TPS with a 6 pin plug, they're all 3 pin. Just want to make sure we're on the same page here, since things sometimes get lost in translation, for example, when you say "inlet" you're talking about the "intake manifold" correct?
