OK folks, who's gonna tell me where to get a new carpet for my car?

Interior 14I, light gray. As far as I can tell, the original GM number is (or was) 10287166. The carpet is simply called "gray".

The GM print catalog I have shows it as "discon" so I suppose I need to go aftermarket.

I'm hoping to get as close as possible to the original GM type carpet.

Have you tried Auto Custom Carpets? Can't share their link for obvious reasons, but your favorite search engine will bring them up.
