My car is misfiring. Its a 6 speed formula. Changed plugs and wires. No. 1 plug turns black quick so I was thinking its misfiring on that cyl. Switched the 1 and 3 coils to see if the black plug followed the coil. It stayed at no. 1. Switched injectors, same result. Found a vacuum leak. Same problem. Cleaned all the connectors to coils. Nothing. Found a ground that wasnt hooked up. I'm back to Nashville on Tuesday so I gotta get this figured out. Any ideas. A guy is coming tomorrow with a diagnostic tool from a gm dealer but I don't know if that is gonna tell us much. The car didn't have any codes until we fixed the vacuum leak then it threw a MAP code. Turned it off with EFI Live and it didn't come back.
