Default subwoofer quality 12W3 or RE S.E.X, or Sundown SA-12

whats the quality like on these particular subs now??? I have a probox that i have had sitting around for a year now and im going to go head and stick it in. I like clean clear bass. Not looking to break the bank here either though. Ive heard the quality on RE's arent the same anymore. Is that true?? Which subs do you all recommend and why? Im going to sound deaden the car at the same time also.

I my self am a kicker fan, i have a kicker L7 12" but a budy of mine loves his R.E. S.X.X. in the back of his 02' camaro, The S.E.X with the right box will probably be the best in my opinion. the sundown i havnt heard much out of them in person so im not going to say anything bout them. If it was me i would chose the S.E.X of the 3

EDIT: Also, the quality of the sub really depends on the amp you have powering it. i have had 2 L7 12" One was in my S10 and my other is in my TA, In the s-10 it has a kicker ZX750.1 kicking out about 900w at 2 Ohms peak. while my IX1000.1 puts out more watts but has a clearer signal then the ZX series. Quality equipment will be the best.
