Question about Tom Tom gps.

Question about Tom Tom gps. I was not sure where to post this but figured electronic people would know.
I was returning to NY from central PA rescuing a 9k mile 02 Z28 w/ friend. I hit myavorite/stored button to head to a steak place in Hoboken NJ. My gps normally gets me there but yesterday it was sending me in circles in & around Hoboken. I got so annoyed that we went home. Does weather affect these things or was it having a bad day? It was windy but no rain or snow.

weather can have an affect to a certain extent, whens the last time you did a software update?
