Numbers/Track times I can hope for?
So I was originally planning on a cc503 cam with my lt1 swap. But now that I know it's going to be a little longer than I thought before we do the swap, I've decided to pick up the LE 226/232 .578/.574 cam that Lloyd Elliot recommended me (I originally didn't want too because I didn't think I could afford a matching stall in the time that we would get it running). So I was going to ask what kind of hp/tq numbers I could see and track times I could run this summer (1/8th track). I haven't heard too much about this cam, i have PM'd a few people that have it though and they like it. I'm so excited about getting this thing running since its been sitting in my shed since last year so I'm really just blowing off steam here. This is my first project car and first pushrod motor so any comments/recommendations are welcome. I've wrote up tons of possible mod lists in the past month or so but this one is pretty much set in stone. Now I just need to update my signature lol. Here's a list of everything I plan on doing.dum
1996 z28 with 70k mile 1993 LT1 swap
Keeping OBD-II, vented opti, 1996 intake manifold, 24lb injectors
Port matched stock heads (Possible)

Scorpion 1.6rr non-SA
7/16 ARP Rocker Studs
5/16 Guide Plates
K&N FIPK intake
CSR Electric Water Pump
Pacesetter Longtubes
Offroad Y pipe
Borla muffler and cut-outs (Possible)
Rebuilt 10k mile 4L60E
3600 Torque Converter (Not sure on brand yet)
Stock gears for now but 3.73s as soon as funds allow
Drag radials on stock wheels
Plan on getting it street tuned by Greg's Tuning Operation in Sikeston, Missouri

What gears are in the car now 2.73's or 3.23's either way it's not going to work very well with a 3600 stall I would put in a 2800. Also with a big stall you need an additional trans cooler or you'll burn up the trans, good luck with your build, have fun.

I was looking into trans coolers too, just not sure which brand to get. And I'm actually not sure which stock gears are in it now. Would there be anyway to tell? And high 7's would be great
Edit: Just looked up that I need to find the RPO codes to figure out which gears I have. I'll have to do that tomorrow or Saturday.

Haha I like to be optimistic. I might do some weight reduction too, gut out the interior. But I'm really hoping that we will have time to match port the heads at the very least. How much do these cars usually weigh? T tops

"match port the heads" has fail written all over it.
Unless you have an experienced and proven SUCCESSFUL porter working on the heads, I'd limit any work on them to just smoothing out rough edges in the bowl area.
You certainly have the right idea with "weight reduction". Can't go wrong with that one!

Edit: Looked all over the shifter and couldn't find that code, but I did find the GU2 on the door panel indicating I have 2.73s, which really sucks cause I was hoping I had 3.23s. Now I'm going to start shopping for 3.42s or 3.73s. Also, just talked to my friend earlier, he's looking at about 2 weeks or less before he gets done with the other car, then we're going to start the swap on mine. I'm so excited!

If you have traction control you have 4-channel ABS...if you don't have TC you have 3-channel ABS. Whatever rear your friend has must be the same in order to retain the ABS function - otherwise you'll lose ABS entirely.
The wheel hubs on the 99 rear are slightly larger so they'll need to be ground down. Nothing a sanding wheel on an angle grinder can't fix.
Also typical V6 cars came with an open differential unless the car has the Y87 package which included an Auburn posi differential. I see he has 3.73s so there's a chance it has a posi to begin with.
Other than that it should be a pretty simple swap.

Oh okay thanks for the information. I didn't know that. I'm not sure if I wanna do the swap though cause he said the gears wine pretty loud
Edit: Well I just talked to him again and he said the rear end came out of a 2002 SS Camaro and when he swapped it into his, it made his ABS light come on so I'm not sure which rear it is now.

I'm going to hold off on that for now, unless I come up on a cheap deal. Do you think the stock injectors will be sufficient for what I want to do? Or should I be looking for larger ones?
