Default Hard time starting up first thing in the morning

Hi,
I recently had trouble with my misfires and general non-runningness but it was attributed to bad gas/water in the gas after swapping out many of the ignition components. However it seems the problem isnt entirely fixed. Everytime I start the car after a long while (sitting overnight for example) it'll start right up but has a misfire or multiple misfires for maybe 30 seconds. In these 30 seconds it isnt drive-able and it has to "warm up" and then works fine after. I just took it on a 200 mile trip and it drove fine no hiccups. However it still has a misfire upon cold start. What gives? I'm at a loss because after maybe 30 seconds it will run fine no problems whatsoever. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

After the bad gas/water, did you change the fuel filter?

Have you checked the fuel pressure?

pressure is around 40psi idling. I did not however change the filter. Would it be worth changing? Could water still be in the filter?

If you had anything other than good gas in the tank, I would have already changed the filter.

mine is doing something similar when cold. i'll start it up and it will almost immediatly die even if i try to give it gas its like there's no fuel. then i restart it and it's fine. i'm hoping it's not a fuel pump or something but i do have 141k on the original pump.

The bad gas could have also clogged an injector or 2.

Run some sea foam in your gas tank. I had a similar problem but only in cold weather. Sounds like you also need to change your filter, it takes like 3 mins. I also cleaned my throttle body with deep creep and added 8 ounces to the brake booster hose. Now it starts right up every time!
