Default 69 Camaro rear shocks

I just bought new 2 inch lowering leaf springs for my 69 Camaro. Does anybody know if I have to buy 2 inch shorter shocks or will the standard length shocks work without bottoming out? Thanks.

Can your suspension bottom out on the bump stops now?

If it can without bottoming out the shocks then they will be OK with the new lower ride height springs.

You may want to install shorter bump stops to gain back your suspension travel if it bottoms out while driving with the new lower ride height springs. You will need to recheck the shock travel to match the lower height bump stops if you do.
