The shocks came off my car around 70,000 miles. Everything was fine when I took them off. The springs in the pic were sold and are NOT included.

Were they run at all with an aftermarket spring?

Yes. When I bought the car (49,000 miles) they had the Eibach Pro-Kit on it.
