I bought the car its a ls1 auto with 323 gears the guy told me it has been tuned is there any way to tell it has lt's y pipe no cats never had the service engine light on until i took out the ram air baffels

It may have been due to no codes from the rear O2's, but to be 100% a reputable tune can hook up and tell you.

Btw. Congrats on the Formula. I'm lookin at getting back into another. Maybe it'll happen for me.

Taking out the baffles isn't going to trip the SES light. Best thing to do is take the car somewhere that can scan to code to see what it is. Will save you a lot of time guessing.

I need to have it done i drove the car for 2 weeks and the day i took out the baffles the light came on dont affect it running or the gas but trying to figure out if there was a way to tell if it had a tune no one where i live will tune a 98 they have to be repined
