04 5.3L carbed in 68c10
Hey fellow hot rodders, I'm starting this thread because I have several questions on what all I may need for this swap. I have engine and truck already.. I'm planning on going with 700r4... I want to use as daily driver... I got small custom cam..
Some of my many questions...
1. Motor mounts? I had a 350/350 in prior
2. Carb setup? What intake?
3. Trans adapter?
4. Drive shaft will same one as 350 work?
5.whats the best carb to run? (Daily driver)
Can't think of anything else now but I'm sure ill come up with some as soon as I start ordering parts...
Feel free to post ur threads or threads with similar builds...! Thanks guys!

OP, you want the Conversions & Hybrids section for this thread.
1) You need a conversion mount setup
2) The Edelbrock 2908 Victor Jr is a good single plane that comes with a controller
3) Crank Spacer 12563532 and 19257940 bolts
4) Maybe, you'll need to measure
5) I'd say a 670 Holley Street Avenger would have some good street manners and crisp throttle response, but without knowing the cam, gears, rear, and rpm it's just a guess
Good luck with the swap.
