Default ls1 and ls3 cylinder heads

hi:
dont know much about LS engines, so i got a question; will the heads of an LS3 engine fit on a LS1 6.0L block ????

thanks for any help on this matter....

No the intake valve will hit the cylinder wall.

An ls1 is not a 6.0.

Are you talking about an lq9? If it is an lq9 based block, yes.

If it is an ls1 based block, no.

ls3/l92 heads need a min of a 4" bore,so yes they will work. Just check your piston to valve clearance especially if your running flat top pistons. Just to play it safe

L92s is what I have used and they worked, just needed to do some extra work on the heads.
