Default Turbo placement variables

Is there any evidence to show that having the turbo in the battery location vs. having in in front of the motor is better? as in will it effect anything with the manifold and piping being closer than the other?

Where are you wanting to route your DP? Out the back? Out the fender? That's the only place where I could see it making a difference.

I've run them on either side of the motor and also directly in front and really no noticeable changes . My thoughts on that are just keep that backpressure down and you'll be good. My corvette has them mounted directly on the manifolds and my fairmont gets on the boost just as quick as corvette with a homemade kit with the turbo in the fender so who knows what's best. Whatever works.hahah
