Default tc78 having some problems

At idle it has a tapping noise that comes and goes. It quiets down some once it warms up.It also sounds like a fully automatic assault rifle at 6k+ rpm i think its blowing the spark out.It only does it at WOT will not do it under partial throttle. It has a th400 btw.The plug wires are not in the best shape there is tears in 2 of the boots.I started it the other night and they was arcing almost to the same beat as the tapping sound.Have you guys ever heard plug wires arcing sound like this?I have a video posted below.Im planning on changing the plugs and wires this weekend and doing the oem wires with br7 plugs gapped at .22. Just trying to get an idea of what you guys think it could be.

Replace plugs and wires if you have a known problem

Get a set of spark plug pliers and remove 1 wire at a time with the engine running and see if the noise goes away on a certain cylinder.

Of course it could be internal engine failure as well. Hard to say from video.

Good luck.
