Differnece between Kore3 and Baer?
I'm looking to do a big brake upgrade next and want to run a 14'' rotor. I found two kits and the difference in price is huge!
Kore3 $1467

Baer Claw $3095+shipping

just seeing if anyone knew off hand what the difference would be.

It looks like the Baer has a 2 piece hat/rotor assembly and the Kore is a one piece, Also the Baer kit you can change the pads with out removing the rotors. I'm not sure if you can do that with the Kore kit, but i think you can't. The Bear brakes are cross drilled the Kore don't say if they are.
I'm not a fan of cross drilled rotors, they tear up the pads quicker, this puts alot of dust on the wheels and the rotors can develop cracks.
Bear's been arround for quiet a while and this is the first I have heard of Kore.
Ultimately you have to decide. Make your pick then do a review here in a year or so.
Good luck

That Kore 3 kit adapts a C6Z06 caliper to run on an F-body and uses a DBA slotted rotor. That means that you're going to have the 12-pad front brake setup. The Baer setup is most likely a tradition pad style and that two piece rotors are a good perk! If you really want two-piece rotors, call up Kore 3 and see if you can substitute for the more expensive, lighter weight option.

I beleave a 12 pad is when there are seperate small pad on the pad mounting plate rather than one large pad (more surface area). I could be wrong on this it is a little out side my experience.
