New guy introductions
Hello All;
My name is Mike Bates. I was in the Air Force for 4 years and am currently a Reservist and fulltime college student chasing a degree in Business Administration with a minor in Emergency Management.
I'm joining LS1Tech because I am doing a LQ4/LS6 swap into my 1990 Nissan 300zx (TT). Im not very familiar with American platform engines and/or brands associated with them. I have much to learn and will appreciate the guidance and support I can receive from the more experienced members on here. That being said, I will respect you as much as you demonstrate respect towards me. I look forward to hearing from you all.
Any advice on heads and intake and fuel setup would be much appreciated.

good luck with your build, youll want to go with a 243 head which is the ls6 head to keep compression up if your running an lq4 block. the lq9 has flat top pistons and would raise it up to ls6 standards.
I have a set of 243/ls6 heads ported with flow chart and springs for 650 lift have 6k miles on them for 700 shipped.
