just installed a vortech sc. got some ping action going on at wot. im putting out 14psi, have 60lb injectors, t rex in line pump, stock in tank pump, computer is tuned. i run 91 octane(best we have here in eastern OK) maybe higher octane gas? or could it be not getting fuel fast enough to the motor (get walbro in tank pump)? or maybe need to retard the timing just a little bit more? i have a msd digtial 6 box to retard timing. thanks!!

Can you use the msd box to retard timing in an LS?
I think you need to tune it again.
Back off on timing and or add fuel.
What are your iats?

Maybe throw a couple of gallons of race gas in tank and see if it helps?

Are you logging fuel pressure? Does it drop at wot?

its a lt1 car. tune may be off cause i wasnt sure of how much boost i was getting. race gas was my next option. no i have not logged fuel pressure. i

You need to put that car on a dyno a log a/f and see what timing your at. Playing the guessing game at 14psi wont end well.
