Cammed/Stalled/built auto 1998 z28
Just gauging to see what others think I have here. I bought the car last year originally to do an LS swap in my LT1 car and for sure have everything that I needed. Once the car showed up, I got to thinking and looking around it and ended up trying to see what was all wrong with it. Ended up that the transmission just needed a new pump, and the converter had to be sent out to yank to have the snout fixed. I'm just waiting on yank to send out my converter so I can get it back in the car and it will be up and running again.
Here's the stats from the previous owner:
98 Z28 136K on car 85K on motor.
Engine and Intake & Fuel:
Comp XE Cam 232/228 573 571 113,
Thunder Racing pushrods & Comp 918 springs
MTI carbon fiber lid & Ls6 intake, LS6 PCV conversion, car does not use any oil.
Racetronix plug and play fuel pump
Trans & Rear:
ACE Racing Built 4l65E (Their stage 3) Every option but billet input and output.
Hughes Billet flexplate
Yank SS4000 stall
Stock 10bolt w/ detroit locker and OE 3.42s and MAC aluminum cover.
Exhaust:
Pacesetter Longtubes
TSP O/R Y flanged for easier removal
3.5in Mufflex with Spintech muffler and 3.5 in manual cutout.
Suspension:
Spohn chassis mount torque arm
Spohn adj panhard rod
Spohn Adj lca's w/ weld on relocation brackets
Spohn weld in subframe connectors.
Appearance:
Side moulding removed, chrome Z28 badges, billet front grill,halo headlights 6000K HID's.
Wheels & Tires:
17x9 Chrome ZR1s with 275/40/17 Nitto 555 street tires all around with 8-10K on them.
The car has some paint issues right now, I'm planning to wetsand and buff the whole thing and clean It up but here are the Pictures from the previous owner. (Car is currently tucked up on jack stands and under a car cover awaiting the trans to be reinstalled.)
Previous owner claims the car ran 11.60's N/A.
