WTB: 1979 F-Body Steering Column! URGENT!!! A buddy of mine has a 1979 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 and someone broke into it today and stole the Steering Column and Steering Wheel! He called me and is looking for a replacement for it! I know these are fairly hard to find, and to add to it, it was a Tilt Column. If ANYONE knows of anything out there that they can get or part with, let me know ASAP! He is crushed and needs help! If anyone can help, you would make this guys day!
Here are the details:
1979 Chevrolet Camaro Z28
Brown Interior
Tilt Steering Column
Z28 Steering Wheel
He needs the unit from the steering box, all the way to, and including, the steering wheel!
Anyone know of anything, hit me up with a location, a price, and the specs! He will take a Firebird one for now, and find a Camaro Steering Wheel later on if need be...
