I have a white TA and am just about to buy black c6 zo6 rims off OE wheels, when talking to someone on the phone, they let me know they ship w/ vette center caps. I obviously don't have a vette. What do you guys do to have a plain center cap (I see hundreds of pics of vette wheels w/o the vette emblem).

I searched and googled and just saw buy a sticker, I would rather replacment caps but can't seem to find a plain black one, and how do I know the colors will match?

Oe wheels doesnt have blank caps,people have made there own and on a few wheels people have used other wheel caps that fit

If there gloss black fill the cap and wrap them in gloss black ,just an idea

Google corvette center caps lots of places that sell blank vette center caps will come up

Maybe Im just a moron, I can only find chrome ones or ones with the vette emblem.

will c5 center caps fit them? i can find those easily in all black. As for the c6 ones i googled black c6 center caps and corvette forum had some threads saying some place called house of wheels has them but i dunno if they are blank

This is covered in the million page OE wheel thread, I've done it. Buy a plain set of replacements from ebay and they interchange. They don't fit absolutely perfect, but work. Just be careful installing or the clips can break because they fit VERY snug.

I would like to do that, but cant find a plain black one, they all have the vette emblem. U got a link for me? I looked through the oe wheel thread but its so damn long its hard to get a clear answer other than oe repeatedly saying we dont have plain black caps.

for what its worth, i had the same hangup about the center caps, figured id deal with it later, when wheels showed up, the centercaps have the indent of the vette flags, but they are not painted, so from a few feet they are not noticable, i was worried they wud be red flags on my chrome wheels, but they are not, il try to attach a pic...

Thanks for the pic, that actually makes me feel better, it seems barely noticeable from the pic? Im still going to try and cover it with a blank disc decal from bfranker

Buy a set like I mentioned, rough em up with some scotchbrite and paint em black. Just search ebay, they pop up from time to time. I wanna say I paid around $40 for my set a couple years ago.

That looks like a good solution.

I just got some C5DD wheels from OE and they came with blank caps. Not sure why OE didn't do blanks a long time ago but sounds like they've listened finally.

Just got my OE wheels in today and they came with Vette flags on the center. Wish OE would update the pics on their site to reflect that or at least the description.

Well for a long time they had only vette flags, despite the pics, so I was surprised (pleasantly) when mine came blank. Which wheels did you get?
