Slight leak of ATF, now a whirring noise in park and neutral Hi all,
As above, slight leak in ATF and I picked up some and added some but there is a slight whirring in park and neutral but not when in gear I don't think.
What could it be?
I am contacting a local transmission place to get a filter and fluid change and for them to fix the leak.

The entire input drum is turning even in park and neutral.
There are several bearing and bushings spinning at all times.
A trans mechanic should be able to tell you more.
