Default AC clutch removal help

I know the basics and have the write up on here for getting the clutch off. However, I am missing something or doing something wrong. I am trying to get the nut off out of the middle and the entire bolt and clutch and pulley are spinning as I try to loosen the nut. is there something wrong with my entire compressor or is there a way to hold the assembly from spinning while you loosen the nut?

Thanks

There is a spanner tool that will hold the clutch while turn the nut off. Sometimes, an impact gun has enough hammering action to free a nut from a spinning clutch.
