Default Those running the Grand Am Cup cam inside

What springs and retainers are you running? I will be going to an adjustable roller rocker also, I'm just not sure of the spring action in need to go with. 918's are on the top of the list, but I may run a little bigger rocker ratio so I'm looking for suggestions. I will be complimenting the cam with around 12:1 comp or just under with custom ported heads to match the cam. This will all be living in 6.0 with a forged bottom end. I'm expecting some pretty decent #'s from it all. Thanks for the help and suggestions in advance.

Comp 918s here with their Ti retainers. They've been fine so far.

Nice. I've already got a set of 5.3 heads with 2.02/1.55's. I think for durablilty I'm sticking with the stainless valves. I just worry about the added weight, so I'm looking in to a lighter weight rocker setup to kind-of offset. probably the vinci adjustable setup. They are 1.79 rockers so that will push the lift up to the .596 area. so I'm thinking 918's also, but I will be changing them every 15k or so. I had the f1 cam and 918's and they were 30k and TOASTED! Valve float got so bad I couldn't wrap it to 5k. So i was thinking about a nice double spring, but again weight being an issue. Does anyone have weights on the different springs? I think that would be a factor to look at in my case. I would like to see the 7-7500 mark if I wanted to, but will likely cut it off around 6800-7k.

Gone with the Scoggen Dickey Cam kit, using the SD springs, Manley Ti retainers, manley valves and new stock valve locks for now. Spins to 7k effortlessly
