185/55/17's had them mounted on new race stars, 1st tire place mounted and balanced them, said nothing, drove the car and steering wheel shook like crazy at 50mph, took them to a different place, they balanced them and said 1 tire is out of round, shake was better but still there, took them to a 3rd place today, guy calls me back to the balance machine and says look at the tire it's got high spots, checked the other one....same thing...friggin over priced tires are egg shapped, i guess need to call summit, just don't want to deal with the hassle

was the car sitting for a while over the winter?

That's a little odd for a radial to be like that. I had 2 sets of MT sportsmans like that right off the shelf, but they're bias ply. Summit should take care of you though.

WOW!!!just talked to summit, there sending me 2 new tires, just have to send the old ones back after i install the new one's.....great service
