Default Why can I not use my LS7 clutch on a Ls6 Flywheel?

As the title says, Why can I not put a LS7 pressure plate and disc on a Ls6/1 Flywheel?

What are the main reasons other that the alignment holes?

Thanks

Default

Because the LS7 clutch kit requires a recessed flywheel.
The LS6 flywheel has a flat surface.
