Default Preferred fluid for slave cylinder?

I checked the fluid level in my clutch reservoir and found some dirty looking blue stuff. I have to assume it's ATE's "Super Blue" DOT 4. I've read about the importance of bleeding/flushing the V1 slave on a regular basis so I'm wondering if you guys have found a type that works best. I've use Valvoline synthetic DOT3/4 in my 340whp GTI equipped with a Southbend stg 3 clutch, seems to work well..

The concentric slave cylinder inside the bell housing sees a lot more heat than your gti's. I use Castrol SRF. It lasts 4-5 times longer than Motul RBF600 does for me.
