So my car was leaking trans fluid and I took it to pep boys they said it was the pan gasket so I put a new one and it still leaks... But it will only leak when you shut the car off when it's running it doesn't leak.. I took it to a trans shop locally and they said its coming out of the vents. But they don't know what's causing it to and now it's starting to slip.. Anyone have any ideas on what this can be..???

A) Did you check the seal where the dipstick tube enters the transmission?

B) Did you check for the proper amount of fluid in the transmission?
