Default Vig3200 or Midwest4000? HELP!!!

I have a Vig3200 in my car. did ok with a cat back and 3.73
After a head/cam install it looses around 35 hp/tq unlocked on dyno. It's a 224 cam, longtube header, ls6 intake and ported tb with 3.73 gear.
Should I put my Midwest 4000/2.5 str in the car? What will the driving/dyno/track differences be? I want a hot weekend driver, no sissy mobile.
I have to choose this weekend before my trans gets installed.
thanks!

How about the yank ss line 3800 or close to it. if you got that kind of money to spend. You could also call to kevin winstead at TCI and see what he would recomend for you. Matbe a TCI 3800 or 4400 converter.

okay - I picked the midwest 4000 and am I glad I did
After the head/cam install the vig3200 felt like it was a half burnt clutch. It was ok - but after the trans got a shift kit I put the 4000/2.5 str in. The car feels almost stock! It doesn't have that slipping yet it goes into gear softly and changes gears fast but gentle under light throttle. When I let it shift over 4000 rpm, wow! right there and cruise passing is a breeze.
4000/2.5 is working great with a head/cam/headers car using 3.73
Now 4/30 I'll see how it launches off the light
