Default Intercooler questions

So I'm installing my front front t72 this weekend. I'll be running a tial wg with a 5.8# spring. At that boost level, how important is an intercooler? Will it just make a little more hp, or will it help the motor handle the boost due to lower iats?

I do plan on getting a nice intercooler cooler set up later, but would rather not do it now unless 100% necessary. Thoughts?

If your gonna push over 10PSI then I would run one to reduce the charge-air temperatures. Any where between 5-9 PSI you should be good with no intercooler but I would still start to invest in one.

At only 6psi I really wouldnt worry unless you're in a very very hot climate.

Anytime you can lower IATs the better off you will be. Is it absolutely necessary, no....but will it help....most definetly.
