WTB: 6.0 Vortec shortblock. I have the heads and intake, exhaust manifolds, but need the Iron block to start my engine build. prefer stock block, but would consider one needing to be bored, or has already been bored. I plan to build a big inch stroker, up to a 427 ci. I know these blocks are getting hard to find, so if anyone has one collecting dust in the shop, and needs to make some room, please let me know.I'd also consider a LS1 block needing machine work. I'd like to keep the price around $400 if at all possible, but will discuss higher cost.

Summit racing sells the block for 675 I think. Comes with Main caps freeze plugs bearings and such. You may want to check those out.

Thanks to all who chimed in on the search, found one in Nebraska for $350 complete, intake to pan, all accessories and even the wiring harness!!!
