Will it hurt to not pull timing on a stock 5.3 and spray a 100 shot on it with stock plugs its on a 2013 silverado

I would pull 2-3 degrees out ,and run good premium unleaded gas .I would not rely on the knock sensors to do the right safe thing.

Need to pull some timing to be safe, I wouldn't want to risk it.

I would run some race fuel as a precautionary measure..you will be less likely to detonate.

Totaly no expert, in fact i havent sprayed my new system yet, but all the research ive done says do it right the first time. Safety equipment, window switch, wot switch, plugs, pull timing is a must.
