Where is the amp i cant find it. I have a 99 trans am. I looked in the hatch i cant see it. my sound sounds like crap i got to check everything out and replace damaged goods

DO you KNOW where your spare tire is?
If so then your amp is behind it.

If not try removing the plastic panel on the passenger side of the hatch.

Please read the Monsoon FAQ sticky at the top of the section. There is a photo of the amp location in there. However, it is extremely unlikely that the Monsoon amp is the source of your sound problems (it should be the very last place to look for problems).

its on the backside of a plastic piece that's mounted in the spare tire well beneath the trunk's trim panel. youll likely see a large bunch of wires running into a connector that goes to the amp
