Default Non return fuel rail.

I built a model a roadster with an ls1, just bought a fuel rail off Craig's list off a 99 vette. The one with no return line. How does it regulate fuel pressure without a place to relieve to? Does it regulate pre- injectors?

it depends on the type of pump your using, but you can use a stock C5 fuel filter/regulator or and aftermarket reg.

It does not regulate pressure, you must use a separate regulator with a return line back to the tank.

Hey Lonnie. How does the stock LS-1 setup/rails regulate without a return line? Following your suggestion, where do you put the return line? Do you place the regulator on your fule line and the regulator itself has the return line to the tank rather than a return off the rail? Clearly i'm a rookie! Thanks

The stock LS1 F-body has a regulator in the fuel bucket.
The Vette does it at the filter & the early LS trucks have a rail mounted regulator & full length return line.

Quick Reply: Non return fuel rail.
