Default Stock Fuel Tank Conversion?

I am looking into swapping an LS engine into my 65 Chevy II Nova. I have a stock fuel tank with a stock sending unit.

Is there a company that makes a conversion kit for stock fuel tanks to make them work with LS engines? Any thoughts on an internal vs an external pump?

Cheers

I'm going through a similar process with my 64 Malibu. Generally the consensus is that running an internal fuel pump is the way to go because the fuel demands (depending on application) are too great for an external pump which will have to pull the fuel. Rather than modifying an old tank, i elected to purchase an aftermarket tank with the EFI setup in place. Bolts right in for $350-$500. Lost to choose from out there. I did see an external pump the other day that claimed to be designed for LS-1 conversions like ours. May have been JEGS. Also, sometimes i call the guiys at Street and Performance. They always seem to have time to discuss these issues.
