Need help on what this is-adapter.jpg

Hello, I got this a few years ago in a box of parts for converting my car to a manual trans, I just found it over the weekend and I have no clue what it could be as I finished that project years ago and the car is still running strong.

Looks like a bellhousing spacer. Between LT1 and LS1 there is about a 1/4" difference on input shaft length.

Thanks Mark !!!! That makes sense, they had all kinds of weird things in the box that wasn't for my car, the others were way easier to identify lol

The LS input is much longer than the lt unit more like an inch or so. Not to mention I don't see the bolt pattern on it for a t56 midplate use.

Before all the nice aftermarket parts were available I once put a T56 behind a ZZ4 by making a 1/4" spacer between the T56 bellhousing and the midplate.
