I'm putting a ls1 in a 36 chevy truck and I don't have much side room. Does anyone know a good source for aftermarket alt. and comp. brackets? I've got plenty of room on top.

Would a corvette alternator bracket work? I know ls1 vettes have the alternator as a top mount. But you would probably need a full vette accessory drive. As for the A/C, I havent seen any top mounted ones but it can probably be done. I know S&P does alot of stuff but its expensive (i think that their name)

Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out. I might get by with the comp. bracket if I can get the lines to clear.
