Default Center bolt valve covers and coils in a 98 car

I have a 98 Vette that I am putting a new 408 in. The Vette originally had perimeter bolt valve covers so I am needing to swap to the center bolt design. I have read that the 4.8 and 5.3L trucks not only have the valve covers that I need but also usually have high performance coils (those identified by the presence of a heat sink). So my question is, first am I right on what I said about the covers and coil packs? Second, will my harness plug in to those coils. Third, if my harness won't plug in, will the truck harness, or other harness, plug into my car?

Thanks!
